This season sees Redlegs FC finishing 3rd in the Division, a solid result that sees us remain in this division and augurs well for the coming seasons ahead.
It has been a season of changes for the on-field team as our long-time goalie Mario Gaete retired and was inducted into the team Hall of Fame. His departure was off-set by the arrival of three new, exciting players; Enrique van der Bijl, Giovanni Marfia & Alvarino Marvao. These new additions to our defensive and winger groups are already improving out on onfield performance!
Don't forget the usual end of season social events, kids clinics, and family fun days. We hope to see all of you at one or more of these great days out. |

The management of Redlegs FC wishes to congratulate the football department on the magnificent effort they have made all season. A top 3 finish is better that had been expected and all the on-field players and staff will receive well-earned bonuses.
As was announced at the end of last season, this was Coach Angner's last season with the club and he has been mentoring Asmus Hinkofer to take over from him as Head Coach. Coach Angner had hoped to stay on and assist the coaching department as a specialist, however unexpected family matters have meant that he has returned to Sweden and is unlikely to return in the near future. We wish him and his family all the best, and send him our heartfelt thanks for a job well done!
There is much preparation to be made ahead of next season, but before that, the management, staff and players of Redlegs FC wish all our members, fans and supporters, Season's Greetings and a very Happy New Year!
Keep a lookout for the Family Day barbecues and clinics coming soon! |

A new season is upon us and the management of Redlegs FC are pleased with the solid work that the team has put in over the past two seasons. Their efforts have cemented us in the top half of the league and we are well positioned to strike for league champions.
Some new faces will be seen at the club, some from our Youth Academy but especially our new recruit from Europe, Asmus Hinkofer. Asmus will be joining our training staff next season and will be assisting Head Coach Mats Angner this year.
Please remember to come out and support your team at every opportunity. |

After a very successful season, the Redlegs FC are coming into the final round of the season with their position on the ladder dependent of the results this Sunday. Management has made it clear that if we can beat the Hair Bares and the Rhinos go down to the Coolers, then our current 3rd place is assured. Any other result will see us slip to 4th place.
The team is on edge with anticipation of a successful completion to this season's matches. The younger players are being mentored by our leadership group to ensure that they don't get out of hand.
Members & supporters are invited to come early to the ground and enjoy the free sausage sizzle and family skills clinic that the club is putting on. There will also be merchandising vans and kids activities outside the ground. Players will be available for photos and autographs from 90 minutes prior to kick-off for approximately 30 minutes.
All are welcome to our traditional end of season BBQ following the match. The gates will open at 18:00 and you can setup your picnic blankets on the pitch. There will be music and entertainment throughout the evening, culminating in a fireworks display at approximately 2200.
The management and players of Redlegs FC look forward to seeing you there!

Redlegs FC would like to wish all our friends and supporters a very Happy New Year for 2007.
The management and players thank you all for your magnificent support throughout the past year's ups and downs, and promise a brighter year ahead.
Supporters will notice a gradual change in our on-field line up as the training staff continue to develop the teams abilities and position us for several seasons of playing skills growth. Some old friends will depart, but new ones will arrive.
Finally, our search for a new coach continues and Coach Matera has graciously consented to put his long overdue retirement and travel plans on hold until we can find his replacement. |

A 0-7 thrashing by III Div team Borkish Chef brought Redlegs' cup campaign to an early finish for this season. The management would like to thank both the players and supporters for all doing their best and have organised a family day BBQ to thank everyone for all their efforts.
With visions of Cup success now firmly put away for another season, it's down to the hard graft of the regular league and friendly matches.
Keep your eyes out for some new faces over the next few weeks as the new training and transfer policies kick in. As the club prepares for the future, we can no longer afford to be sentimental about under performing players.
Congratulations are due to Joel Viduka who was recently the first club player to be elevated to the Redlegs Hall of Fame. Joel is now happily pursuing a career as a TV host, and can often be seen around on training nights offering "helpful" suggestions to the younger players. |

The new season has opened with 3 wins on the trot for Redlegs FC, including the opening round of the Oceanian Cup.
The squad is pumped, the fans are supportive and the sponsors ecstatic! This weekend's opening league round saw a capacity crowd at the newly enlarged Devils' Lane, and a healthy fillip to the clubs coffers.
The new team building program will begin this week and will see a change in focus that should enalbe the club to be well positioned for the future. Expect to see new faces coming in, some old faces going out, and a new training regime to develop younger players.
Management would like to thank all the sponsors and supporteers who have worked with the Club over the past 4 seasons and helped us build the club, squad and trainers into the professional organisation we are today. |

Fans will be disappointed with the club's imminent relegation to VI Division, however, the prospect of another league cup win will help to take the edge off their angst.
Redlegs FC finishes the season with a much healthier bank balance, a much larger stadium, a better coach, and all-together better prospects for the future.
Next season will see the start of a strategic training program and a few departures of familiar faces from the on-field squad.
Fans can be assured that the trainers and managers are looking to establish Redlegs FC as one of the premier training grounds for new talent, as well as a competitive club in its own right!
Solidarity will lead to success. |
